1. Make sure you have your 12-word paper key phrase from Litewallet.
Before doing anything, make sure you’ve written down your 12-word paper key from Litewallet. You’ll need it to import your wallet into Nexus.
To find it:
Open Litewallet > Tap the menu button ☰ > Go to Security Center > Tap Paper Key.
2. Download the new Nexus Wallet.
3. Set up your new wallet.
-
Open the app and create a new Nexus Wallet.
-
Set a PIN code.
-
Write down your new 24-word seed phrase. This is extremely important — it’s the only way to recover your wallet if you lose your device.
-
Enable Face ID or Touch ID if you'd like.
-
Wait for the wallet to sync with the blockchain. This can take anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes depending on your internet speed.
4. Import your Litewallet.
-
In Nexus, tap the "Receive" button, so your wallet will generate an address.
-
Go to the settings menu (gear icon).
-
Tap “Import Litewallet”.
-
Enter your 12-word recovery phrase from Litewallet.
-
Tap “OK”.
In a few seconds (up to 1 minute), you’ll see your transactions appear in Nexus Wallet.
Note: You may see two incoming transactions after importing. This is expected and completely normal.
